    1. At the fabric store, there are 5 remnant pieces of cloth. They measure 2/7 of a yard, 4/9 of a yard, 2/5 of a yard, 1/3 of a yard, and 4/11 of a yard. Alma wants the pieces folded and stacked in order with the longest on top and the smallest on the bottom. Explain how the pieces are stacked and how you reached your conclusion.

    2. The four James children received a gift of money from their grandmother. She gave them a total of $270 altogether. The oldest child, Amanda, got 4/9 of the money. The second-oldest child, Stephanie, got 1/3 of the money. The next oldest, Matthew, got 1/6 of the money. The youngest child, Edna, got the rest of the money. How much money did each child receive?

    3. Rainbow Robots Inc. was putting on a big demonstration. Everyone came to watch the colorful robots wash the windows at the Miller Building. First the big red robot washed one half of all the windows in the building. Then the smaller green robot washed two-thirds of the windows that were left. Next the blue robot washed one half of the windows that were left. To the cheers of everyone watching, the tiny yellow robot washed the last 10 windows. How many windows did the Rainbow Robots wash altogether?
